"Bach" Together Again, Bach and Vivaldi

Online Streaming Concert
× It seems fitting that the greatest composer of all-time, Johann Sebastian Bach would be selected to bring us back together. The Key Chorale Chamber Singers combine with orchestra for two of the most festive Baroque works: Bach’s "Magnificat" and Vivaldi’s "Gloria." Trumpet, timpani and jubilant choral writing is ever present in Bach’s "Magnificat," his first large-scale work composed for the churches in Leipzig. Vivaldi’s spiritual magnificence and Italian mastery make his "Gloria" his greatest choral masterpiece.

Will be available immediately following the premiere until February 21. A link for viewing this online event will be emailed to all ticket holders on the premiere date, January 29, 2021.

Haydn wrote his "Lord Nelson Mass," originally titled a "Mass in Troubled Times," as Napoleon’s army marched toward Vienna. Soprano Mary Wilson returns to thrill you with vocal brilliance and virtuosic fireworks along with soloists Jamal Sarikoki, Matt Morgan and Amy Connours.
