Event Notes
It seems fitting that the greatest composer of all-time, Johann Sebastian Bach would be selected to bring us back together. The Key Chorale Chamber Singers combine with orchestra for two of the most festive Baroque works: Bach’s "Magnificat" and Vivaldi’s "Gloria." Trumpet, timpani and jubilant choral writing is ever present in Bach’s "Magnificat," his first large-scale work composed for the churches in Leipzig. Vivaldi’s spiritual magnificence and Italian mastery make his "Gloria" his greatest choral masterpiece.
$30 per household.
Will be available immediately following the premiere until February 21. A link for viewing this online event will be emailed to all ticket holders on the premiere date, January 29, 2021.
